All of our products are proudly made in our London kitchen, using the finest organic ingredients available in the UK. There are no preservatives, colourants, MSG or sugars added.

This meat-free member of our broth family is made using only the finest organic ingredients and is as close to homemade as you can get. We've simmered traditionally fermented miso paste, apple, onion and sea spaghetti in spring water and added some ginger, turmeric and black pepper for added flavour. That's it!Broth is traditionally hailed for its health benefits but its unique qualities don't stop there. What we love about our broths is how versatile they are. Seasoned to perfection, you can sip straight from a mug, use as a base in a noodle soup or use it as you might a stock in a whole host of recipes. You'll be amazed how much a proper, well-made broth can add flavour to your home cooked meals!

Keep Refrigerated; Suitable for Home Freezing

Preparation:
Bring to the boil and serve piping hot. You can drink it in a mug as a delicious beverage or use as a stock in a multitude of recipes.

Hob - From Chilled. Pour into a pan. Bring to the boil until piping hot.; Microwave - From Chilled. Pour into a microwaveable bowl or mug. 5 mins at 900W, stir halfway through. Ensure broth is piping hot. Leave for 1 minute before sipping.

Borough Broth Co Vegetable Dumpling Soup with Miso Broth
Serves 2

Ingredients:

For the dumplings:
For these we suggest you make fresh if you have the time but there are also some great frozen veg dumplings available that you can cook straight from frozen in the boiling broth for a couple of minutes.
If you're keen to make your own you can choose any filling. We suggest:
1 tablespoon ginger, grated
2 garlic cloves, grated
2 spring onions, finely chopped
A handful of kimchi, drained, chopped finely
200g cooked mushroom, minced finely
Season to taste with a few tablespoons of soy sauce, a splash of toasted sesame oil + lime juice

2 pouches of Borough Broth Co. Organic Apple, Miso & Seaweed Broth

Additional veg and garnish:
Bok choy
Chopped Carrots
*soy sauce
*kimchi
*2 spring onion, halved and sliced lengthwise into strips
*1 red chilli diced

Method
1. Mix all the dumpling ingredients well.
2. Wet the diameter of the wrappers with a bit of water. Fill with 1 teaspoon of filling and seal.
3. Pan fry the wontons in oil (we like using a good groundnut oil) in batches until browned on both sides.
4. Meanwhile, simmer the broth on a hob for a few minutes until piping hot.
5. Quarter bok choy lengthwise and add this along with the carrots and wontons to the broth pot. Place lid on and allow to simmer for a couple of minutes until the veg is softened and wontons are cooked through
6. Serve with soy sauce, chilli oil, spring onions, fresh coriander, lime wedges & kimchi

Storage:
If bought chilled: refrigerate and enjoy before use by date. Suitable for freezing on day of purchase for up to 6 months.
If bought frozen: Store in freezer. To eat, defrost fully in the fridge and use within 10 days. Do not refreeze after defrosting.
Once opened, seal and refrigerate and use within 5 days.
