M&S Organic Beef Mince 12% Fat

Minced organic British beef that contains less than 12% fat. Simply pan-fry for nine to ten minutes and use as a base for cottage pie, chilli and bolognaise mixes. Collagen to meat protein ratio under 15%.

M&S Organic is produced with fewer pesticides, no artificial colours or preservatives, no routine use of antibiotics, and no genetically modified ingredients or manufactured herbicides.

For Use By, see front of pack. Keep refrigerated 0C to +5C. Once opened, use immediately. Suitable for freezing. Freeze by date mark shown and use within one month. Once defrosted (in a refrigerator) use immediately. Defrost thoroughly before use.

Handling raw meat safely: this product contains raw meat and must be cooked according to the cooking instructions.

Shallow Fry - From Chilled. Needs cooking. Remove all packaging. Heat non stick frying pan to a medium/high heat. Add product. Break up the mince over the entire surface of the pan. Cook for 9-10 mins. Add a sauce or stock and bring to the boil. Reduce heat and simmer gently, stirring occasionally until cooked through. The meat must be thoroughly cooked until the juices run clear. The meat must be piping hot with no pink meat remaining. Check that product is thoroughly cooked before serving.
Do not reheat.
